Emily Lederman is an Australian photographer, creative director, model, and stylist currently based in Japan. Her practice moves fluidly between image-making and direction, building visual worlds that sit somewhere between memory and the present. Working primarily across fashion and portraiture, she is drawn to the quiet tension in youth, identity, and self-expression — the small gestures, fleeting moments, and subtle moods that shape how people are seen.

Her work often leans into grain, colour, and texture, creating images that feel intimate, instinctive, and emotionally grounded. Influenced by the visual language of the late 90s and early 2000s, she approaches photography as a way of stretching time rather than freezing it, allowing scenes to feel lived-in and atmospheric.
